Bespoke B&B in the heart of Norfolk's Breckland area

About The Oaks

The Oaks is a B&B in the pretty market town of Swaffham. Situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, in a tranquil, half-acre garden, it's the former infirmary of the old Swaffham Workhouse. Now a comfortable family home, it caters for just one couple at any one time, and offers a bespoke service to ensure privacy and security for you. The guest suite has a double bedroom with king-size bed, and a private bathroom directly opposite, with a large roll top bath, and a double shower. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. Guests have the sole use of a large sitting and dining room with views over the garden. In warm weather guests may choose to have breakfast in the garden, or spend a day sitting out there with a good book. The TV has a dvd player, complete with a wide selection of dvds. If you’re too tired to venture out in the evening, you can stay in with a take away, put your feet up and watch a film. We will heat or cook any prepared meals if you wish to bring them in the evening . There's free unlimited wifi. The Oaks almost completely green. An air source heat pump, solar panels and battery storage, mean the house is carbon neutral.
